I haven't been here in a couple of months but, am I glad I came back.
Today, I ordered a "Ceviche de Pescado" and a "Chaufa de Mariscos".
They are both delicious. The ceviche is a perfect combo of spice, acid and fish. The amount of food is also amazing.
The Chaufa de Mariscos essentially is a seafood fried rice. It does have a spice so, ask for mild or medium. This fried rice has a great amount of seafood as well.
An order of ceviche and Chaufa de Mariscos is honestly enough for 2 people.
Definitely recommend it if you are hungry in the area. La Choza has many of Peruvian and Mexican delicacies. -

La Choza is a casual restaurant located in a strip mall that serves both Peruvian and Mexican food. We ended up ordering a couple of Peruvian dishes - lomo saltado, chaufas de mariscos and plantains. And couldn't forget an Inca Kola!
We received complimentary pan fried corn as we waited for our dishes to come out, which they did in a fair amount of time. Customer service was also good. We were checked on quite frequently. And the food was flavorful. -

Found this place from a Google suggestion. This place is located off the Rancho California exit in Temecula after you pass the target shopping center. It's kind of hidden from sight since the bigger shopping area commands more attention. I found this place looking for something different since after a while you tend to eat the same things over and over. Tried the chaufa de mariscos (Peruvian Seafood Fried Rice). It has the same standard taste of regular fried rice but then the taste of the Peruvian salsa takes over and adds the garlic taste to it. (Ask for the green Peruvian salsa, it's great and not spicy). The portion is generous and filling. The seafood included shrimp, squid, and scallops. Plate was around 12-14 bucks. Went for lunch and it wasn't crowded. Food was out in less than 10 minutes. They take cards. Very casual. Good place for lunch and regular dinner. Probably not a choice to have a date or date night. I was glad to find this type of food in Temecula since most of this type of food is always closer to LA.

The best ceviche ever!!! No filling you up with tomatoes, onions and other stuff. The lomo saltado is very good and the yucca the best I've ever had.... top it off with an Inca Kola and you are ready for a food coma.
